Dreher reported that there are no changes since the last presentation. She has
prepared
a half-page flyer for use at tabling and events.
b. Status of NSP Community Liaisons
Kanthi reported that an orientation is planned for the 2
nd week of August. Caesar has
contact information and will send invitations to organizers and Executive Directors.
c. Other:
i. Evans provided updates on the following:
▪ Paid Media – McAlister and Mabon are researching price points and
audience coverage for a media package.
▪ Video Survey – a report from Ben Stiller shows that 35 people have
recorded responses.
▪ This is Keleske’s last meeting before heading to Duke. Two new
volunteers are working with Frank to plan the Land Use Event: Bridget
Brown, Program Coord at UWM specializing in water resources and
community development, and Dulmini Jayawardana, UWM Grad student.
ii. There is still time to weigh in on the Mayor’s ARPA proposal. Shambarger
reported that public engagement on the American Rescue Plan can happen in at
least two ways: 1) respond to the American Rescue Plan survey
at: https://city.milwaukee.gov/ARPA or 2) you can send an email to the
Common Council members (email addresses available

3. Summer Events Planning
a. Overview and progress update – Evans/ McAlister
b. Tabling plan and sign-up – Piszczek
Overview and progress update
▪ Evans noted that an engagement chart has been added to the Overview to help
planners understand that a broad spectrum of events is possible. Everyone has
access to the Planning Grid, which is regularly updated.
▪ To-date, we have three events scheduled (Jobs, Biking, and Finance). All are
scheduled on the north side. We are looking for opportunities to partner with
organizations on the south side. Some suggestions included
- 16th Street Health Clinic
- Green Corridor in the Garden District
- Southside Organizing Council
- Core El Centro
- Harbor District
- Clark Square
▪ A brief description of each proposal will be posted on Social Pinpoint along with
the individual surveys.
b. Tabling plan and sign-up – Piszczek has identified several high traffic public
events.

Circulate Market. Ideally there will be two people at each tabling event.
ECO will pay for supplies: half page flyers with QR code (reviewed), Poster with 10 Big
Ideas, table and chairs, tablecloth. Evans will work with Dreher to get flyers and poster
printed.
Cristo will reach out to organizers to make sure we can table at the event. He will
create
a volunteer sign-up list and send it out. The following people expressed willingness to
staff tables: Frank, Mabon, Omokunde, Wiggins, Caesar. Mabon may bring in
volunteers
