Member Crane was welcomed as a new member to the committee. Present: 5 - Nemec, Bloomingdale, Washington, Johnson, Crane Excused: 1 - Sas-Perez Individual also present: Vanessa Koster, Dept. of City Development City Planning Miscellaneous 1. 191524 Resolution to elect the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the City Plan Commission. Sponsors: THE CHAIR Member Johnson moved nomination, seconded by member Washington, of Stephanie Bloomingdale to serve as chair. There were no objections. Member Washington moved nomination, seconded by member Johnson, of Allyson Nemec to serve as vice-chair. There were no objections. Members Bloomingdale and Nemec were in acceptance of their nominations. Members Bloomingdale and Nemec elected as chair and vice-chair, respectively. A motion was made by Darryl Johnson, seconded by Ranell Washington, that this Resolution be APPROVED. Review and approval of the previous meeting minutes. The meeting minutes from December 2, 2019 were approved without objection. Zoning - Public Hearing 1:30 PM 3. 191357 A substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Local Business, LB2, and Two-Family Residential, RT4, to a General Planned Development to consolidate the zoning and accommodate future mixed-use development on the properties located in the block bounded by West Wisconsin Avenue, North 27th Street, West Michigan Street, and North 28th Street, in the 4th Aldermanic District. Sponsors: Ald. Bauman Appearing: Keith Stanley, Near West Side Partners Chris Hau, Quorum Architects Inc. Jennifer Current, Quorum Architects Inc. Rick Wiegand, Ambassador Hotel Kevin Kuschel, Dept. of City Development Testifying in support: Mark Voelz, St. Paul's Lutheran Church Vice-chair Nemec recused herself. There was no objection. North Commerce Street, relative to a Site Plan Review Overlay Zone (SPROZ) established by Section 295-91.0021 of the former Milwaukee Code, in the 6th Aldermanic District.
