Meeting convened at 1:33 p.m. Present: 5 - Nemec, Sas-Perez, Crane, Washington, Bloomingdale Excused: 1 - Johnson Also present: Sam Leichtling, DCD Planning Division Kristin Connelly, DCD Planning Division Forrest Elliott, DCD Planning Division New DCD Commissioner and City Plan Commission Executive Secretary Lafayette Crump appeared, was welcomed, and made brief remarks. 1. Review and approval of the previous meeting minutes. The meeting minutes from June 22, 2020 were approved without objection. 2. 200412 Resolution thanking Vanessa Koster and congratulating her on her appointment to Deputy Commissioner of the Department of City Development. Sponsors: THE CHAIR Appearing: Lafayette Crump, DCD Commissioner Vice-chair Nemec moved approval, seconded by member Sas-Perez. (Prevailed 5-0) A motion was made by Allyson Nemec, seconded by Brianna Sas-Perez, that this Resolution be APPROVED. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: City of Milwaukee Page 1 CITY PLAN COMMISSION Meeting Minutes July 20, 2020 Aye: 5- Nemec, Sas-Perez, Crane, Washington, and Bloomingdale No: 0 Excused: 1- Johnson Zoning - Public Hearing 1:30 P.M. 3. 200246 A substitute ordinance relating to the Third Amendment to the Detailed Planned Development known as Cameo Care Campus and the change in zoning from Detailed Planned Development to Local Business, LB1, for the property located at 5758 South 27th Street, on the east side of South 27th Street, south of West Parnell Avenue, in the 13th Aldermanic District. Sponsors: THE CHAIR Appearing: Jim Dallas - Keller Inc. Jim Griffith - Griffin Hub Atty. Kathy Gutenkunst - Cramer, Multhauf & Hammes, LLP Ald. Scott Spiker, 13th Aldermanic District It was noted that written objection from Linda Krause was submitted to the file. Member Washington moved approval, seconded by member Crane. (Prevailed 5-0) A motion was made by Ranell Washington, seconded by Catrina Crane, that this Ordinance be RECOMMENDED FOR PASSAGE AND ASSIGNED to the ZONING, NEIGHBORHOODS & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE .
