Review and approval of the previous meeting minutes from November 9, 2020. Meeting minutes from November 9, 2020 were approved without objection. Zoning - Public Hearing 1:30 PM 2. 200941 An ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Parks, PK, to Industrial Light, IL1, for the eastern portion of 6081-ADJ North Hopkins Street, located on the west side of North Hopkins Street, south of West Woolworth Avenue, in the 9th Aldermanic District. Sponsors: Ald. Lewis Appearing: Patrick Wesley, Barrientos Design & Consulting Bill Banach, Milwaukee County Dept. of Architectural Services City of Milwaukee Page 1 CITY PLAN COMMISSION Meeting Minutes December 7, 2020 No public testimony. Member Washington moved conditional approval, seconded by vice-chair Nemec. (Prevailed 6-0) Condition: That the proposal has been recommended for approval by the Milwaukee County Board Committee with jurisdiction over this matter prior to being heard by the Zoning, Neighborhoods, and Development Committee. A motion was made by Ranell Washington, seconded by Allyson Nemec, that this Ordinance be APPROVED CONDITIONALLY. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 6- Nemec, Sas-Perez, Crane, Johnson, Washington, and Bloomingdale No: 0 A motion was made by Ranell Washington, seconded by Allyson Nemec, that this Ordinance be REFERRED TO to the ZONING, NEIGHBORHOODS & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE . This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 6- Nemec, Sas-Perez, Crane, Johnson, Washington, and Bloomingdale No: 0 Zoning 3. 201083 Resolution approving changes to the previously approved site plan and building elevations for the Rite Hite development located on the north and south sides of West Freshwater Way, west of South 3rd Street, in the 12th Aldermanic District, relative to a Development Incentive Zone (DIZ) known as Reed Street Yards. Sponsors: THE CHAIR Appearing: Greg Uhen, Eppstein Uhen Architects Vice-chair Nemec moved conditional approval, seconded by member Washington. (Prevailed 6-0) Condition: Submittal of revised landscape plan. A motion was made by Allyson Nemec, seconded by Ranell Washington, that this Resolution be APPROVED CONDITIONALLY. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 6- Nemec, Sas-Perez, Crane, Johnson, Washington, and Bloomingdale No: 0 Real Estate City of Milwaukee Page 2 CITY PLAN COMMISSION Meeting Minutes December 7, 2020 4. 201061 Resolution declaring City-owned parking lots surplus to municipal needs and authorizing marketing and sale of the properties to private buyers. Sponsors: THE CHAIR Appearing: Yves LaPierre, DCD Real Estate Anthony Gayfield, DPW Member Washington moved approval, seconded by member Johnson. (Prevailed 6-0) A motion was made by Ranell Washington, seconded by Darryl Johnson, that this Resolution be RECOMMENDED FOR ADOPTION AND ASSIGNED to the ZONING, NEIGHBORHOODS & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE . This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 6- Nemec, Sas-Perez, Crane, Johnson, Washington, and Bloomingdale No: 0 It was acknowledged that the meeting was the last for member Johnson, and members commended him for his service to the commission.
