There were no corrections to the minutes of the June 20th meeting. A prayer was given by Pastor Winkel of the Havenwoods area. COMMENDATORY AND CONDOLATORY RESOLUTIONS Ald. Lewis moved that the Council dissolve into a committee of the whole. There were no objections. Mr. John Gurda was honored for his service as a long-time member and president of the Milwaukee Public Library Board of Trustees, presented by Ald. Coggs. Misses Alexandrea English, Kalia Gooseberry and Kayle M. Phillips were presented for wining honors during the 2018 Miss Juneteenth Pageant, presented by Ald. Coggs. Ald. Kovacmoved that the committee rise. There were no objections. Pres. Hamilton also acknowledged a group of students from Marquette High School studying as part of the Outward Bound program focusing on water this year. 2. 180533 Communications from the City Clerk relating to various commendatory/condolatory resolutions to be acknowledged and affirmed by the Common Council.
