Meeting convened: 9:21 A.M.
The Pledge of Allegiance was said followed by a prayer led by Pastor Marlon Lock of
Unity Gospel House of Prayer.
Ms. Bria Smith was also recognized for winning the 2109 Vel Phillips Trailblazer Award
Presentation of a commendation to MCTS bus driver Shannon Johnson. Mr. Johnson
witnessed a serious motor vehicle accident while on duty and with the help of others,
pried open the vehicle door and pulled the driver to safety, thus preventing potential
further injury.

Impact Streets -- $500,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the
requested amount is $1,500,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during
the 2019 construction season.
Motion to amend for this file by Ald. Bauman to amended the final Further Resolved
clause. Amended as the same language was included twice so eliminating the
duplicate language. No objection to the motion.
