The question was put: Are there any corrections to the Common Council Journal of Proceedings for the regular meeting of February 28, 2023? There being none, the minutes of the meeting were approved without objection. Ald. Zamarripa moved that the Common Council resolve itself into Committee of the Whole for hearing presentations. There was no objection. Ald. Dimitrijevic, Ald. Coggs, Ald. Zamarripa addressed the Common Council in honor of Women's History Month followed by a spoken word poem given by Melissa Blue Mohammad and comments from Arlisia McHenry, who appeared on behalf of Mayor Cavalier Johnson. Ald. Zamarripa, Ald. Coggs, and Ald. Dimitrijevic recognized and honored Paula Perez, Janette Herrera, and Kelsey Kaufmann, respectively, as 2023 Women's History Month Honorees. Ald. Coggs moved that Common Council rise from Committee of the Whole. There was no objection. Pres. Perez yielded chairmanship of the meeting to Ald. Dimitrijevic, Ald. Zamarripa, and Ald. Spencer, for the premises located at 4001 W Fond Du Lac Av. D.B.A. "Infinity Lounge". Ald. Rainey withdrew his motion. Ald. Rainey moved to return to committee the request to add types of entertainment and the change of hours of the license renewal application for Mario A.
