The question was put: Are there any corrections to the Common Council Journal of Proceedings for the regular meeting of June 20, 2023? There being none, the minutes of the meetings were approved without objection. Ald. Coggs moved that the Common Council resolved itself into Committee of the Whole for making presentations. There was no objection. Ald. Coggs along with Ald. Pratt, Ald. Taylor, Ald. Chambers, Ald. Spiker, Als. Rainey and Ald. Westmoreland recognized the following: Miss Juneteenth - Adaobi Nnamuchi; Little Miss Juneteenth - Brionna Clemons and Mister Juneteenth Junior - Mason Donald. Ald. Westmoreland moved that the Common Council rise from Committee of the Whole. There was no objection. Coggs moved that the Common Council resolve itself into a Committee of the Whole for the purposes of hearing oral arguments on behalf of the complainant or the licenses in opposition to the report and recommendation and then a statement by the City Attorney.
