A quorum was noted for the meeting after roll call. As a result, the meeting began with the election of a new chair. Acting Chair Steve Jansen provided an update stating that the previous committee Chair Paul Mozina resigned from his post. Jansen proposed a motion for the selection of a new committee chair and encouraged others who were interested or on the call to volunteer for the position. There were no individuals who expressed interest in becoming the Chair of the committee. Jansen then proposed that Deborah Blanks become speaker due to her work in research and her history of being in the committee. Blanks declined citing work and the time commitment involved in being the Chair of the Committee. Blanks then proposed that Jansen become the new Chair of the Committee. Jansen stated that if accepted as Chair he would do so with the understanding that it would be temporary in hopes of more people joining their efforts and taking his place. Jansen accepted the proposal. A vote on the motion was held and it was unanimously decided that Jansen would be the new Chair of the Committee. 2. Community Survey Resolution Draft and Discussion. Jansen provided an update on the Community Survey Resolution and stated that an email would be sent out for review of documents and the proposed additional revisions in the resolution to satisfy the concerns of the larger CCC body. 3.
