1. Roll call.
-CCC Member Tiodolo Delagarza (with the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center),
Committee
Member Deborah Blanks, and Stephen Jansen Chair. Deborah Blanks was present.
2. Discussion on proposed Request for Proposal (RFP) draft.
-Chair Steve requested an open discussion of the RFP draft and what would be in it.
-Chair Steve and Tiodolo throughout the meeting replied with questions asking
Deborah to
clarify what she was saying. Below is a synopsis of her responses.
-Deborah stated, I am hoping that this schedule will be sent via email so that we can
keep
aware. After the proposals are received. Will there be a time where we meet with others
to
decide as a panel who narrows down choice? Who do you want on the panel? The
police, the
community, CCC, or a group that you want to get buy in from who might be important?
How
will they add to the acceptance of this process? What expertise can they bring to the
selection
process? Give the bidders 5 to 6 weeks. September 15th sounds good if we can
realistically meet
that. Are they presenting to the 3 of us? The presentation meeting should be about 2
hours
(20-30 minute presentation). We ask as a part of the process that they present a
GANT (Task,
hours, timeline, process, they can use a GANT Chart or another method, timeline for
completion).
