Meeting convened: 12:05 P.M. Members present: Steve Jansen and Deborah Blanks Member excused: Tiadolo Delargaza 2. Review and approval of the minutes of October 20th. Ms. Blanked moved for approval, seconded by Mr. Jansen. There were no objections. 3. Discussion on the RFP. Ms. Blanks talked to Terry MacDonald in the city clerk's office, who sent the RFP requisition to Purchasing on the 20th. Purchasing has gotten the approvals it needs and it has been assigned to a purchasing agent, who might be reviewing it for a couple of weeks. Purchasing does have contact info. for Steve and Nate Hamilton, as well as Ms. Blanks's. For the next meeting, we can discuss who will be on the committee. Ms. Blanks would like to have Tiadolo attend the next meeting, to address if he has any objections. Mr. Jansen will reach out to some CCC members who might be willing to assist and solicit members at the Nov. 10th meeting of the CCC. Ms. Blanks also asked if the selection committee members need to be present for all the meetings. She also feels the committee shouldn't be too large as it then becomes unwieldy and members need to be present for all the meetings. Over the next few days, key people will be contacted about the selection committee and serving. Ms. Blanks will ask Ms.MacDonald if there is any general information on how to set up a selection committee. Meeting adjourned: 12:17 P.M. In the event that Common Council members who are not members of this committee attend this meeting, this meeting may also simultaneously constitute a meeting of the Common Council or any of the following committees: Community and Economic Development, Finance and Personnel, Judiciary and Legislation, Licenses, Public Safety and Health, Public Works, Zoning, Neighborhoods & Development, and/or Steering and Rules. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Common Council member results in a quorum of the Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum of another committee, whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee’s realm of authority. In the event that a simultaneous meeting is occurring, no action other than information gathering will be taken at the simultaneous meeting.
