Perez moved to amend Common Council File Number 130325, a resolution relative to the establishment of the Year 2014 Funding Allocation Plan by amending the 2014 Proposed Funding Allocation Plan (FAP) recommendations attached to this file by adding the following footnote at the end of page 9: “Funds under the Public Service-Community Organizing category shall be allocated by a request-for-proposal (RFP) process.” City of Milwaukee Page 3 COMMUNITY & ECONOMIC Meeting Minutes July 15, 2013 DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE (Prevailed 5-0) A motion was made by ALD. Davis moved to amend Common Council File Number 130325, a resolution relative to the establishment of the Year 2014 Funding Allocation Plan by amending the 2014 Proposed Funding Allocation Plan (FAP) recommendations attached to this file by: 1. Decreasing the recommended funding for the 2014 Proposed CDBG Entitlement Allocation category titled “Proposed CITY CDBG Allocation” by $1,000,000, from $6,351,150 to $5,351,150. (page 12) 2. Increasing the recommended funding for the following 2014 Proposed CDBG Entitlement Allocation Public Service-Community Organizing category: • Neighborhood Strategic Planning by $235,000, from $810,000 to $1,045,000. (page 9) 3. Increasing the recommended funding for the 2014 Proposed CDBG Entitlement Allocation Public Service-Community Organizing by $690,000, by creating and funding the following categories: • Milwaukee Promise / BMA funded at $500,000. (page 9) • Be The Change funded at $190,000. (page 9) 4. Increasing the recommended funding for the following 2014 Proposed CDBG Entitlement Allocation Capacity Building-Technical Assistance to CBO’s by $75,000, from $75,000 to $150,000.
