Roll call and approval of the minutes from the previous meeting. Ms. Barndt moved approval, seconded by Ms. Davis, of the meeting minutes from December 15, 2015. Ms. De La Rosa excused. There were no objections. 2. The Board may convene into closed session to hear disciplinary matters and related information pursuant to s. 19.85(1)(b) and/or (f), Wis. Stats., and to consider and render confidential advice pursuant to s. 19.85(1)(h), Wis. Stats. The committee convened into closed session at 9:05 a.m. Members present: Kalscheur, Hintz, Davis, Barndt, Wacker Members excused: Shelledy, De La Rosa Also present: Joanna Gibelev, City Attorney's Office Appearing later in closed session: Joseph Kaltenberg 3. The Board may then convene into open session as authorized by s. 19.85(2), Wis. Stats. The committee reconvened into open session at 9:10 a.m. Ms. Wacker said that request for confidential opinion was discussed before the City of Milwaukee Page 1 ETHICS BOARD Meeting Minutes January 19, 2016 committee in closed session, and the committee will render an opinion in writing within the next week. 4. Report from staff assistant relating to office activities of the previous month. On behalf of staff assistant Molly Kuether, Mr. Lee stated that eight Statement of Economic Interest forms were received and will be forthcoming after the deadline at the end of the month of February. Members stated that they have not seen the citywide email sent to all boards and employees requesting Statement of Economic Interest Forms be submitted. Members requested that staff send out the emails accordingly. 5. Review newly filed Statement of Economic Interest Forms for clarity and completeness. Members reviewed the forms submitted by Ruben Burgos, Erick Richardson, and Robert Riepenhoff. Members approved all forms with the condition that the following information is filled out for the two following forms: Ruben Burgos, "Part 3 - Investments", more specific information, such as the fund family, other than "deferred compensation", which is not acceptable. Erik Richardson, "Part 1 - Source of Income, A.", complete the column entitled "Self (S) or Family (F)." 6. Set next meeting date(s). Tuesday, February 16, 2016.
