1. Roll call and approval of the minutes from the previous meeting.
Meeting convened at 9:01 AM
Mr. Shelledy moved, seconded by Mr. Kalscheur approval of the previous minutes.
There were no objections.
Present: 5 - Hintz, Wacker, Barndt, Shelledy, Kalscheur
2. The Board may convene into closed session to hear disciplinary matters and related
information pursuant to s. 19.85(1)(b) and/or (f), Wis. Stats., and to consider and render
confidential advice pursuant to s. 19.85(1)(h), Wis. Stats.
Ms. Barndt moved, seconded by Mr. Kalscheur to go into closed session. There were
no objections.
3. The Board may then convene into open session as authorized by s. 19.85(2), Wis. Stats.
Ms. Hintz moved, seconded by Mr. Shelledy to reconvene into open session. There
were no objections.
Ms. Wacker stated the Board met in closed session to discuss a request for
confidential opinion and will respond in writing.
4. Report from staff assistant relating to office activities of the previous month.
There was no Statement of Economic Interests submitted for review.
There was 1 Confidential Opinion Request submitted last month.
We received and mailed 3 Confidential Advisory responses last month.
5. Set next meeting date(s).
The next meeting is scheduled for July 18, 2017

NOTE: a) Members of the Common Council, and members of its Standing
Committees who are not members of this Committee, may attend this meeting to
participate or to gather information. Therefore, notice is given that this meeting
may constitute a meeting of the Common Council or any of its Standing
Committees, and must be noticed as such, although they will not take any formal
action at this meeting.
b) Upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of
persons with disabilities through sign language interpreters or auxiliary aids. For

c) Limited parking for persons attending meetings in City Hall is available at
reduced rates (5 hour limit) at the Milwaukee Center on the southwest corner of
East Kilbourn and North Water Street. Parking tickets must be validated in Room
205, (City Clerk's Office) or the first floor Information Booth in City Hall.
d) Effective July 1, 2005, persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of
the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are required to register with the City Clerk's
Office License Division. More information is available at
