Roll call and approval of the minutes from the previous meeting. The meeting convened at 9:02 AM Individual also present: ACA Peter Block Ms. Barndt moved approval of the minutes, seconded by Mr. Nicholas. There were no objections. Present: 5 - Hintz, Barndt, Kalscheur, Kruse, Nicholas Excused: 1 - Maus 2. The Board may convene into closed session to hear disciplinary matters and related information pursuant to s. 19.85(1)(b) and/or (f), Wis. Stats., and to consider and render confidential advice pursuant to s. 19.85(1)(h), Wis. Stats. Mr. Kalscheur moved to convened in to closed session, seconded by Mr. Kruse. There were no objections. The Board convened in to closed session at 9:04 AM. 3. The Board may then convene into open session as authorized by s. 19.85(2), Wis. Stats. Mr. Kalscheur moved to reconvene in to open session, seconded by Ms. Barndt. There were no objections. The Board reconvened in to open session at 9:30 AM. Ms. Hintz stated that the Board discussed one request for confidential opinion in closed session. 4. Discussion related to complaints where the complainant wishes to remain anonymous. Mr. Kalscheur stated that the accused has the right to know their accuser. He added that the complaint needs to be verified. 5. Report from staff assistant relating to office activities of the previous month. Ms. Kuether-Steele stated the Election Commission provided a revised statement of economic interest for candidates of public office. Review newly filed Statement of Economic Interest Forms for clarity and completeness. There were no new statements of economic interest. 7. Set next meeting date(s). Parking tickets must be validated in Room 205, (City Clerk's Office) or the first floor Information Booth in City Hall. d) Effective July 1, 2005, persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are required to register with the City Clerk's Office License Division.
