Roll call and approval of the minutes from the previous meeting. The meeting was called to order at 12:10 pm Members present: Hintz, Maus, Nicholas, Mueller and Johnson Members excused: Kalscheur and Kruse Also joined by Peter Block. Mr. Nicholas moved to approve the minutes from the meeting held on May 25th, 2022 seconded by Ms. Johnson. There no objections. 2. The Board may convene into closed session pursuant to s. 19.85(1)(b) and/or (h), Wis. Stats., to consider and render confidential advice. The Board will then convene into open session as authorized by s. 19.85(2), Wis. Stats. to continue with the remainder of the agenda. Ms. Johnson moved to convene into closed session, seconded by Mr. Clarence. There were no objections. Ms. Maus moved to moved to reconvene into open session, seconded by Ms. Hintz. Ms. Hintz stated that the Board met in closed session to discuss some requests for confidential advisory opinion. Mr. Block will draft the letters. 4. Report from staff relating to office activities of the previous month. Ms. Melendez reported that 21 Statement Economic Interest forms still missing (9 from employees and the rest are from board or commission members). She said that the last email went out on June 24th, 2022 and that the next step (which was discussed with Mr. Block) is to address the heads of departments, boards and commissions. 5. Review newly filed Statement of Economic Interest Forms for clarity and completeness. Set next meeting date(s). Ms. Hintz stated that if an urgent matter comes front must be addressed immediately and asked Ms. Melendez to check back with her about 10 days before the 3rd week of August to make a determination if the meeting is needed. Ms. Johnson moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Mr. Nicholas. There were no objections. Times for specific agenda items are estimations. If items cannot be heard at their specified times, they will be heard as soon as practicable thereafter. b) Upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities through sign language interpreters or auxiliary aids. Parking tickets must be validated in Room 205, (City Clerk's Office) or the first floor Information Booth in City Hall. d) Effective July 1, 2005, persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are required to register with the City Clerk's Office License Division.
