Meeting recessed at 12:44 p.m. Meeting reconvened at 1:07 p.m. -Fire and Police Commission Appearing: Leon Todd, FPC Executive Director Naomi Gehling, FPC Depuity Director Bryan Rynders, Budget Office Ryan Zollicoffer, Emergency Management Director Mr. Rynders and Director Todd gave a Fire and Police Commission presentation as follows: Key Performance Measures, 2023 Budget Summary, 2023 Special Funds, 2023 Budget Highlights, 2022 Highlights & Notable Achievements, FPC Staff and Needs, Organizational Chart, Recruitment and Diversity Efforts, Police and Fire Classes and Recruitments in 2022, Upcoming Classes and Recruitments, Emergency Management, FPC Community Outreach, Strategies, Highlights, Investigations/Citizen Complaints, Policy Reviews, Constitutional and Unbiased Policing, FPC Demographics Members requested for further information and analysis including police hires with troubled background checks and litigious incidents involving them and police overtime. A motion was made by ALD. SPIKER that this Communication be HELD TO CALL OF THE CHAIR.
