Manager Brian White, DPW Fleet Services Manager Rick Meyers, DPW Sanitation Services Manager Randy Krouse, DPW Forestry Services Manager Mr. Lavey, Director Rodriguez, Managers Schumacher, White, Meyers, and Krouse gave a DPW - Operations presentation on the following: 2024 Budget Summary, Salaries and Positions, Demolition, Operating, Equipment, Special Funds, Revenues, Capital, Key Performance Indicators, Department Demographics, Racial Equity & Inclusion, Fleet Services Operations, Sanitation Operations, Sanitation - Community (Engagement, Climate and Equity), Forestry - 2024 Operations, Forestry - Community & Environmental Collaboration Ald. Murphy requested to see the plan, once available, to convert the City's fleet vehicles and refueling facilities to electric from gasoline fuel and information on the costs to clean up landfilled sites. Ald. Coggs requested a breakdowwn of $2.2 million in demolition costs for DPW - Operations. Ald. Dimitrijevic requested estimates on DPW doing or organizing the chipping of trees and plan for composting and reducing food waste. Ald. Spiker requested for a survey of median experience for City snow plow drivers. Meeting recessed at 12:18 p.m. Meeting reconvened at 12:41 p.m Ald. Spiker requested information on the capacity of tree growing. Ald. Dimitrijevic requested information on grass mowings. A motion was made by ALD. COGGS that this Communication be HELD TO CALL OF THE CHAIR.
