Dimitrijevic requested for LRB to draft a letter to federal and state representatives to respond to GEMT funding for the City. Ald. Spiker requested for further breakdown on run times for Fire, ALS, and BLS response times. Ald. Coggs requested for the residency of the current fire cadet recruit class. -Fire and Police Commission Appearing: Shaketa Winters, Budget Office Leon Todd, FPC Executive Director Ryan Zollicoffer, FPC Emergency Management Director Naomi Gehling, FPC Deputy Executive Director Ms. Winters, Director Todd, Director Zollicoffer, and Deputy Director Gehling gave a Fire and Police Commission presentation on the following: 2024 Budget Summary, Salaries and Positions, Operating & Equipment Expenses, Special Funds, Org Chart, Core Services, Key Performance Indicators, 2024 Major Updates - Emergency Management, Upcoming Classes & Recruitments, Testing and Recruiting, FPC Policy Review under Act 12, Audit, Department Demographics Ald. Murphy requested for information on the citywide alert notification system regarding its cyber security. Ald. Coggs requested for a 5-year breakdown of police and fire cadet applications. Ald. Dimitrijevic requested for a write-up on climate and equity. A motion was made by ALD. COGGS that this Communication be HELD TO CALL OF THE CHAIR.
