find legal tools to change behaviors of traffic and reckless driving offenders and to
combat recidivism.
Ald. Coggs requested for the City Attorney's Office to consider legal tools to combat
illegal dumping.

Ald. Dimitrijevic requested for the Health Department to send communication and
information for people to check their MMR measles vaccination status and access to
vaccination resources, a memo on climate and equity, a mapping of lead remediation,
information on lead testing of City-owned properties, and exploration of/information on
financial tools or models to assist private property owners for lead testing.
Ald. Murphy requested for a breakdown of costs per home for lead abatement,
information on the expenditure of $3 million in ARPA, the number of homes with lead
orders issued and their compliance results, for discussion with the School of
Freshwater Sciense to do online/drone water sampling, for there to be more education
and outreach on the opioid/drug addiction to communities, and to have as the
reduction or outcome on the number of sexual/reproduction disease cases at health
clinics.
Ald. Coggs requested for the exploration of increasing charges for lead remediation
and for further education (with partnerships) to daycare providers on lead testing and to
further discuss online regarding the elimination of the Chief of Staff position.
A motion was made by ALD. SPIKER that this Communication be HELD TO
CALL OF THE CHAIR. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote:

In the event that Common Council members who are not members of this committee attend this
meeting, this meeting may also simultaneously constitute a meeting of the Common Council or any
of the following committees: Community and Economic Development, Finance and Personnel,
Judiciary and Legislation, Licenses, Public Safety and Health, Public Works, Zoning, Neighborhoods
& Development, and/or Steering and Rules. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends
on whether the presence of one or more of the Common Council member results in a quorum of the
Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum of another committee,
whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee’s realm of authority.

be taken at the simultaneous meeting.

Bike racks are available on Water Street, Market Street, and Broadway, and a Bublr Bike Share
station is located on the northeast corner of Kilbourn Avenue and Water Street.
Limited parking for persons attending meetings during normal business hours is available at reduced
rates (5 hour limit) at the Milwaukee Center on the southwest corner of Kilbourn Avenue and Water
Street. You must present a copy of the meeting notice to the parking cashier.
Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code are required to
register with the City Clerk's License Division. Lobbyists appearing before a Common Council
