7. FPC19367 Communication from the Collaborative Community Committee
Presentation Update (15 minutes)
Commissioner Cocroft motioned to establish a Community Oriented Policy addressing
the specific needs of the citizens of Milwaukee. The motion was seconded by
Commissioner Soler.

10. Communication Update Regarding the Reappointment of Chief Alfonso Morales
Public comment regarding this item will be received via testimony, letters or emails
from 10/3/19 through 10/20/19. A Community Forum will be scheduled at a later date
where Chief Morales can be interviewed and address questions by the public. A final
decision regarding his reappointment will be made by the year of this year.
This was HELD IN COMMISSION
Commissioner McKenzie made two requests for the record:
To establish a committee for the ACLU Lawsuit and a committee for the Democratic
National Convention.

The Board may receive a motion to convene in closed session in City Hall, room 301-B, 200 East
Wells Street, on the promotion request in the Fire Department pursuant to Section 19.85 (1)(c) Wis.
Stats. to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any
public employee over whom the Board has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility or Section 19.85
(1)(f) Wis. Stats. to consider financial, medical, social or personal histories of specific candidates for
employment which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the
reputation of any person referred to in such histories, if neccesary. The Board may then reconvene in
open session concerning any such item following the closed session.
Upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities
through sign language interpreters or auxiliary aids. For additional information or to request this
