2. FPC20289 Communication relating to the process to be used in the recruitment and
hiring of a permanent Chief of Police.

3. FPC20355 Resolution to vote to amend the Chief of Police selection process
Commissioner Robakowski made a motion to have the preliminary interviews in private
and have the number of candidates reduced to 3. After the 3 candidates have been
chosen, then the commission will go into the public forms to allow the community to
meet the candidates and ask questions.
Commissioner Cocroft made a friendly amendment to the motion that was currently on
the floor. After the commission narrows down its 3 candidates, then have the 3
candidates interviewed in the public forms by the commission.
Commissioner Robakowski denied Commissioner Cocroft's friendly amendment.
A motion was made by Raymond Robakowski, seconded by Anna Wilson, that
this Fire And Police Resolution be ADOPTED. This motion PREVAILED by the
following vote:
Aye: 4- Crouther, Robakowski, DeVougas, and Wilson
No: 3- McKenzie, Cocroft, and Soler
Motion to Adjourn
This meeting adjourned at 6:30p.m.
