You may find the added language under Item #5 FPC20426. This is a virtual meeting that will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. FPC20299 Resolution to amend Milwaukee Police Department Community Oriented Policing policy Sponsors: THE CHAIR This item remains in committee. This Fire And Police Resolution was REFERRED TO to the POLICIES AND STANDARDS COMMITTEE due back on 1/28/2021 4. FPC20205 Resolution to amend Standard Operating Procedure 460 - Use of Force Sponsors: THE CHAIR A motion was made by Everett Cocroft, seconded by Angela McKenzie, that this Fire And Police Resolution be ADOPTED. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 6- McKenzie, Cocroft, Crouther, Soler, DeVougas, and Wilson No: 0 5. FPC20426 Resolution to vote on the appointment of a permanent Chief of Police to succeed Acting Chief Michael J. This Fire And Police Resolution was REFERRED TO to the FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION due back on 1/7/2021 Motion to Adjourn City of Milwaukee Page 2 FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION Meeting Minutes - Final December 10, 2020 This meeting adjourned at 6:35PM The Board may receive a motion to convene in closed session in City Hall, room 301-B, 200 East Wells Street, to consider the above appointment resolution, pursuant to Section19.85(1)(c), Wis. Stat. to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, and to the extent applicable, pursuant to Section 19.85 (1)(f), Wis. Stat. to consider financial, medical, social or personal histories of specific candidates for employment which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories, and pursuant to Section 19.85 (1) (g) Wis. Stats. to confer with a representative of the City Attorney's Office who will render oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the Board with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved. The Board may then reconvene in open session concerning any such item following the closed session. Upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities through sign language interpreters or auxiliary aids.
