FPC21353 Resolution to approve the re-exemption request for the Police Services Specialist-Investigator position This Fire and Police Resolution was ADOPTED by general consent 6. FPC21356 Resolution to approve the Voluntary Demotion of Police District Administrative Assistant This Fire and Police Resolution was ADOPTED by general consent New Business 7. FPC21358 Resolution to amend Standard Operating Procedures 400-Off Duty, Extra Duty and Special Event Employment A motion was made by Everett Cocroft, seconded by LaNell Ramey that this Fire and Police Resolution be referred to the FPC Complaints and Discipline Committee which will meet on November 16, 2021. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 7- Avalos, Fallone, Cocroft, Crouther, Kessler, Ramey, and Wilson No: 0 Fire Department 8. FPC21354 Resolution to approve the promotion to the Fire Lieutenant position A motion was made by Fred Crouther, seconded by Anna Wilson that this Fire and Police Resolution be ADOPTED. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 7- Avalos, Fallone, Cocroft, Crouther, Kessler, Ramey, and Wilson No: 0 9. FPC21355 Resolution to approve the appointment to the Program Assistant III position A motion was made by Anna Wilson, seconded by Everett Cocroft, that this Fire and Police Resolution be ADOPTED. FPC21359 Resolution to approve the MPD Risk Manager Job Announcement Bulletin A motion was made by Anna Wilson, seconded by Everett Cocroft, that this Fire and Police Resolution be ADOPTED. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 7- Avalos, Fallone, Cocroft, Crouther, Kessler, Ramey, and Wilson No: 0 Motion to Adjourn Motion made by Fred Crouther, seconded by LaNell Ramey. None opposed. All in favor. The motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 6:09 p.m. The Board may receive a motion to convene in closed session in City Hall, room 301-B, 200 East Wells Street, on the appointment or promotion in the Fire Department, pursuant to Section 19.85 (1) (c) Wis. Stats. to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over whom the Board has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. The Board may then reconvene in open session concerning any such item following the closed session. Upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities through sign language interpreters or auxiliary aids.
