Stat. §19.84(3) good cause for less than 24 hours notice for the change to fully virtual exists as it was impossible given the Mayor’s declaration of a snow emergency and closing of City Hall this morning. This agenda has been amended to state the meeting will be VIRTUAL ONLY. A subsequent motion was made by Ruben Burgos and seconded by Dana World-Patterson, to approve the promotions of the remaining candidates. The motion carried unanimously. Following the conclusion of the closed session, a motion was made by Miriam Horwitz and seconded by Gerard Washington to approve the promotions of T.M. and M.D. The motion carried unanimously. All motions PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 9- Avalos, Spencer, World-Patterson, Fallone, Crouther, Washington, Ramey, Horwitz, and Burgos No: 0 20. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 9- Avalos, Spencer, World-Patterson, Fallone, Crouther, Washington, Ramey, Horwitz, and Burgos No: 0 Motion to Adjourn A motion was made by LaNelle Ramey and seconded by everyone. None opposed. All in favor. The motion carried. The Board may receive a motion to convene in closed session in City Hall, room 301-B, 200 East Wells Street, on the above items in the Police Department or the Fire Department pursuant to Section 19.85 (1)(c) Wis. Stats. to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over whom the Board has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, The Board may then reconvene in open session concerning any such item following the closed session. Upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities through sign language interpreters or auxiliary aids.
