FPC21423 Resolution to approve the November 9, 2021 meeting minutes A motion was made LaNelle Ramey, seconded by Amanda Avalos, that this Fire and Police Resolution be ADOPTED. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 4- Avalos, Ramey, Fallone, and Kessler No: 0 Excused: 1- World-Patterson 3. FPC21420 Resolution to amend Standard Operating Procedure 610-Towing of Vehicles A motion was made by Edward Fallone, seconded by LaNelle Ramey, that this Fire and Police Resolution be RECOMMENDED for adoption by the FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION, with the condition that the provisions relating to the towing of unregistered vehicles be revisited for possible amendment or repeal in December 2022. This motion FAILED by the following vote: Aye: 2- Ramey, and Fallone No: 2 - Avalos, and Kessler Excused: 1 - World-Patterson A motion was made by LaNelle Ramey, seconded by Edward Fallone to defer further actions on this item until the next Policies and Standards Committee meeting. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Ramey, Fallone, and Kessler No: 1 - Avalos Excused: 1 - World-Patterson 4. FPC21414 Resolution to amend Standard Operating Procedure 270-Field Training and Evaluation Program A motion was made LaNelle Ramey, seconded by Amanda Avalos, that this Fire and Police Resolution be RECOMMENDED for adoption by the FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION which will meet on 2/3/2022. FPC21415 Resolution to amend Standard Operating Procedure 440-Early Intervention Program City of Milwaukee Page 2 FPC POLICIES AND STANDARDS Meeting Minutes - Final January 27, 2022 COMMITTEE A motion was made LaNelle Ramey, seconded by Edward Fallone, that this Fire and Police Resolution be RECOMMENDED for adoption by the FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION which will meet on 2/3/2022. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 4- Avalos, Ramey, Fallone, and Kessler No: 0 Excused: 1- World-Patterson 6. FPC21416 Resolution to amend Standard Operating Procedure 500-Personnel Evaluations This Fire and Police Resolution was RECOMMENDED for adoption by the FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION which will meet on 2/3/2022. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 4- Avalos, Ramey, Fallone, and Kessler No: 0 Excused: 1- World-Patterson 7. FPC21419 Resolution to amend Standard Operating Procedure 300-Directed Patrol Missions A motion was made Edward Fallone, seconded by LaNelle Ramey, that this Fire and Police Resolution be RECOMMENDED for adoption by the FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION which will meet on 2/3/2022. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 4- Avalos, Ramey, Fallone, and Kessler No: 0 Excused: 1- World-Patterson Motion to Adjourn LaNelle Ramey moved to adjourn, seconded by Edward Fallone. None opposed. All in favor. The motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 7:19 p.m. This meeting may also simultaneously constitute a meeting of the Fire and Police Commission or any of the following committees or subcommittees: Rules and Research, Testing and Recruiting, Complaints and Discipline. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Fire and Police Commission members results in a quorum or a negative quorum of the Commission or another committee and whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee's realm of authority. In the even that a simultaneous meeting is occurring, no action other than information gathering will be taken at the simultaneous meeting.
