FPC21474 Resolution to approve the February 16, 2022 meeting minutes A motion was made by Edward Fallone, seconded by Amanda Avalos, that this Fire and Police Resolution be ADOPTED. FPC21462 Resolution to create Standard Operating Instruction-1033 Law Enforcement Support Office (LESO) Program A motion was made by Edward Fallone, seconded by Dana World-Patterson, that this Fire and Police Resolution be RECOMMENDED for adoption by the FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Fallone, Ramey, and World-Patterson No: 0 Excused: 1- Kessler Abstain: 1- Avalos 4. FPC21463 Resolution to amend Standard Operating Procedure 160-Persons with Mental Illness A motion was made by Edward Fallone, seconded by Amanda Avalos, to RECOMMEND that this FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION establish an advisory committee to review and make recommendations for updating SOP 160, as recommended by the Milwaukee County Mental Health Task Force. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 4- Avalos, Fallone, Ramey, and World-Patterson No: 0 Excused: 1-Kessler An additional motion was made by Edward Fallone, seconded by Dana World-Patterson, that this Fire and Police Resolution be HELD TO THE CALL OF THE CHAIR. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 4- Avalos, Fallone, Ramey, and World-Patterson No: 0 Excused: 1- Kessler 5. FPC21464 Resolution to amend Standard Operating Procedure 010-Absence A motion was made by Amanda Avalos, seconded by Edward Fallone, that this Fire and Police Resolution be RECOMMENDED for adoption by the FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION. FPC21465 Resolution to amend Standard Operating Procedure 560-Property A motion was made by Dana World-Patterson, seconded by Edward Fallone, that this Fire and Police Resolution be RECOMMENDED for adoption by the FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 4- Avalos, Fallone, Ramey, and World-Patterson No: 0 Excused: 1- Kessler Motion to Adjourn Ed Fallone motioned to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Dana World-Patterson. None opposed. All in favor. The motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 6:28 p.m. This meeting may also simultaneously constitute a meeting of the Fire and Police Commission or any of the following committees or subcommittees: Research and Rules, Testing and Recruiting, Complaints and Discipline. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Fire and Police Commission members results in a quorum or a negative quorum of the Commission or another committee and whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee's realm of authority. In the even that a simultaneous meeting is occurring, no action other than information gathering will be taken at the simultaneous meeting. Upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities through sign language interpreters or auxiliary aids.
