FPC21817 Communication from the Community Collaborative Committee (CCC) regarding proposed amendments to MPD Standard Operating Procedure 460-Use of Force A motion was made Ruben Burgos, seconded by Amanda Avalos, that this Fire and Police Communication be HELD TO CALL OF THE CHAIR. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: 4. FPC21776 Communication relating to the creation of a Standard Operating Procedure regarding the release of MPD video footage of critical incidents A motion was made Bree Spencer, seconded by Amanda Avalos, that this Fire and Police Resolution be HELD TO CALL OF THE CHAIR. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 4- Avalos, Spencer, World-Patterson, and Burgos No: 0 Absent: 1- Fallone 5. FPC21889 Resolution to amend Milwaukee Police Department Standard Operating Instruction-Major Incident Response Team (MIRT) This Fire and Police Resolution was RECOMMENDED FOR ADOPTION by the FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION with the qualification there would be a review on the language regarding passive resistance. This motion prevailed by the following vote: Aye: 4- Avalos, Spencer, World-Patterson, and Burgos No: 0 Absent: 1- Fallone 6. FPC21890 Resolution to amend Milwaukee Police Department Standard Operating Procedure 910-Civil Disturbance and Crowd Management This Fire and Police Resolution was RECOMMENDED FOR ADOPTION by the FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION. None opposed. All in favor. The motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:58 p.m. This meeting may also simultaneously constitute a meeting of the Fire and Police Commission or any of the following committees or subcommittees: Research and Rules, Testing and Recruiting, Policies and Standards.
