Special Meeting- Amended Agenda
Please be apprised that pursuant to Wis. Stat. §19.84(3) good cause for less than 24 hours
notice for the change to fully virtual exists as it was impossible given the Mayor’s
declaration of a snow emergency and closing of City Hall this morning.
This agenda has been amended to state the meeting will be VIRTUAL ONLY.
The meeting Commenced at 4:45 p.m.
This is a Virtual Only meeting that will be conducted via Microsoft Teams ONLY.

Due to time limitations for this meeting, public comments will be limited to a maximum of 2
minutes per speaker and to a total maximum of 15 minutes. The chair reserves the right to
ensure that all comments are pertinent and not repetitive in order for the meeting to be
handled fairly and efficiently.
2. FPC21776 Communication relating to the creation of a Standard Operating
Procedure regarding the release of MPD video footage of critical
incidents
A motion was made Edward Fallone, seconded by Ruben Burgos, that this Fire
and Police Communication be HELD TO CALL OF THE CHAIR. This motion
PREVAILED by the following vote:
Aye: 5- Avalos, Spencer, World-Patterson, Fallone, and Burgos
No: 0
Motion to Adjourn
Edward Fallone motioned to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Amanda Avalos. None
opposed. All in favor. The motion carried.

COMMITTEE
The Board may receive a motion to convene in closed session in City Hall, room 301-B, 200 East
Wells Street, on the above item, pursuant to Section 19.85 (1) (g) Wis. Stats. to confer with a
representative of the City Attorney's Office who will render oral or written advice concerning strategy
to be adopted by the Board with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved.
The Board may then reconvene in open session concerning any such item following the closed session.
This meeting may also simultaneously constitute a meeting of the Fire and Police Commission or any
of the following committees or subcommittees: Research and Rules, Testing and Recruiting, Policies
and Standards. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one
or more of the Fire and Police Commission members results in a quorum or a negative quorum of the
Commission or another committee and whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within
that committee's realm of authority. In the even that a simultaneous meeting is occurring, no action
other than information gathering will be taken at the simultaneous meeting.
Upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities
through sign language interpreters or auxiliary aids. For additional information or to request this
service, contact the Fire and Police Commission ADA Coordinator at 414-286-5072,

meeting...shall be given at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of such meeting unless for good
cause such notice is impossible or impractical, in which case shorter notice may be given, but in no
case may the notice be provided less than two hours in advance of the meeting."
