Tuesday, January 15, 2019 5:30 PM City Hall, Room 301-B
The Research Committee of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners will meet in open session on
the following items:
Present: 3 - Wilson, Cocroft, DeVougas
Excused: 1 - Crouther
1. Election of Chair and Vice-Chair
The Director opened the meeting with the Election of the Chair. Commissioner Wilson
nominated Commissioner Steven DeVougas for this position. Commissioner Cocroft
concurred. Commissioner DeVougas accepted the position of the Chair of the
Research Committee. Commissioner Wilson nominated Commissioner Cocroft for the
Vice-Chair position. Commissioner DeVougas concurred. Commissioner Cocroft
accepted the position of Vice-Chair of the Research Committee. Commissioner Wilson
moved to close the voting process. Seconded by Commissioner Cocroft. The motion
carried unaniminously.
2. FPC19454 Resolution relating to the Rescind Request of SOI Nuisance Property
Surveillance Vehicle (NPSV)
Sponsors: THE CHAIR
Attachments: SOI Nuisance Property Surveillance Velhicle (NPSV)
The Committee will refer this item to the full Board with recommendations to approve
the request to rescind.
This Fire And Police Resolution was REFERRED to the FIRE AND POLICE
COMMISSION due back on 1/24/2019.
3. FPC19455 Resolution relating to the request to create Standard Operating
Procedure 255-Public Video Surveillance Cameras
Sponsors: THE CHAIR

The Committee will recommend to the full Board to approve the request.
This Fire And Police Resolution was REFERRED TO the FIRE AND POLICE
COMMISSION due back on 1/24/2019.
