FPC19335 Resolution to approve requirement changes for the Police Lieutenant, Police Sergeant and Detective Exams DeVogas moved to approve Chief Morales' changes as stated in the October 31, 2019, letter. Soler seconded motion with the amendment to do this only for this class pending discussion of preference points for the next class. This item will go back to the full board at the November 20, 2019 meeting for a final vote. McKenzie noted for the record that she only voted "Aye", because she understands the MPD needs to move forward with their promotional process for Sergeants and Detectives. A motion was made by Steven DeVougas, seconded by Nelson Soler, that this Fire And Police Resolution be REFERRED to the FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION due back on 11/20/2019. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 4- McKenzie, Cocroft, Soler, and DeVougas No: 0 City of Milwaukee Page 1 FPC TESTING AND RECRUITING Meeting Minutes - Final November 14, 2019 COMMITTEE 2. FPC19339 Resolution to review the Psychological Evaluation Process for Testing and Recruiting Soler moves that the current process be publically shared with every candidate that fails the psychological evaluation. The current process should include in addition to the psychologist, an executive director and a commissioner who can review, uphold, challenge technically the process until we get the study done that will have meaningful data for us to make an improved change. In addition, he requests the RFP process be reviewed. Research will continue regarding this item. This item will be discussed at the next Testing and Recruiting meeting on January 16, 2020.
