Public Comment Comment(s) by the Public. 2. FPC21153 Resolution to approve the January 14, 2021, meeting minutes A motion was made by Everett Cocroft, seconded by Amanda Avalos, that this Fire and Police Resolution be ADOPTED. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 3- McKenzie, Cocroft, and Avalos No: 0 Excused: 2- Crouther, and Wilson 3. FPC21164 Resolution to increase residence preference points through civic service for applicants to the Milwaukee Police Department and Milwaukee Fire Department Everett Cocroft motioned to defer this item to the next Testing and Recruiting meeting scheduled for September 9, 2021, Amanda Avalos seconded the motion. None opposed. All in favor. The motion carried. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Fire and Police Commission members results in a quorum or negative quorum of the Fire and Police Commission or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum or negative quorum of another committee, whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee's realm of authority. In the event that simultaneous meeting is occurring, no action other than information gathering will be taken at the simultaneous meeting. Upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities through sign language interpreters or auxiliary aids.
