Mr. Pérez wanted to make the Commissioners aware that staff may suggest some changes to the bylaws. One would move the journal of record to the web, the other would more broadly define the elected official component of the Board to reflect the scope of HACM’s relationships. It may be an item for discussion on next month’s agenda. Mr. Pérez asked Evans Gant, HACM Section 3 Coordinator, to discuss some upcoming job fairs and other Section 3 and EBE activity and asked Warren Jones, HACM Director of Development, to provide an update regarding Modernization and Development activities. Adjournment There being no further business, Commissioner Witkowiak made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 2:47p.m. Commissioner Van Alstine seconded the motion. There being no objections, the motion carried. R_12848 Approval of the minutes of the regular meeting held on February 8, 2017 Attachments: February 8, 2017 HACM Minutes 2. R_12849 Resolution approving Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 16-021 with Friends of Housing Corporation for property management services at Berryland, Northlawn and Southlawn Developments This contract allows for four separate one-year renewal options. The Contractor has performed satisfactorily during the contract term. Staff recommends that HACM exercise its first option to renew the contract, extending the contract completion date one year from March 31, 2017 to April 1, 2018 at the same per unit per month rate of $26.60 for the management fee, increasing the contract by $312,816.00. This brings the total contract not to exceed amount to $625,632.00 for two years. Contractor has achieved 7% for W/MBE subcontract participation and 86% for Section 3 participation extra efforts for the contract period April 1, 2016 through March 31, 2017. Contractor has proposed 20% W/MBE participation for the renewal period. The MBE subcontractors are certified as such by the Wisconsin Department of Administration’s business diversity program. 3. These judgments, and all unpaid final tenant accounts, will be sent to the Department of Revenue to intercept tax returns.
