The mission of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) is to foster strong,
resilient and inclusive communities by providing a continuum of high-quality housing options
that support self-sufficiency, good quality of life, and the opportunity to thrive.

THE HOUSING AUTHORITY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MAY VOTE TO
CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION, PURSUANT TO WIS. STAT. § 19.85(1)(G), FOR
PURPOSES OF CONFERRING WITH LEGAL COUNSEL FOR THE HOUSING
AUTHORITY TO RECEIVE ORAL OR WRITTEN ADVICE CONCERNING
STRATEGY TO BE ADOPTED BY THE HOUSING AUTHORITY WITH RESPECT
TO LITIGATION IN WHICH IT IS INVOLVED. THE AUTHORITY MAY THEN VOTE
TO RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION.
Commissioner Witkowiak made a motion to convene in executive session at 3:04p.m.
Chair Wagner seconded the motion. There being no objections, the motion carried.
Vice Chair Diaz, attending in person, convened the Housing Authority Board in
executive session pursuant to Wis. Stats. Secs. 19.85 (1) (G), for purposes of
conferring with legal counsel for the Housing Authority to receive oral or written advice
concerning strategy to be adopted by the Housing Authority with respect to litigation in
which it is involved. The Authority may then vote to reconvene in open session.
Chair Wagner moved to reconvene in open session. Commissioner Van Alstine
seconded the motion. There being no objections, the motion carried.
Vice Chair Diaz reconvened the regular meeting of the Housing Authority Board at
3:33p.m.

1. R_12952 Resolution approving the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee and
the limited liability companies of which the Authority is the managing
member to enter into a Settlement Agreement in "Housing Authority of the
City of Milwaukee, et al., plaintiffs v. Zimmerman Design Group, Inc., et
al., defendants," Milwaukee County Circuit Court Case No. 12CV11532

A motion was made by Mark A. Wagner, seconded by Michael T. Van Alstine,
that this Housing Authority Resolution be ADOPTED. This motion PREVAILED
by the following vote:
Aye: 5- Witkowiak, Van Alstine, Wagner, Mitchell, and Diaz
No: 0
Excused: 1- Reed Daniels
Abstain: 1- Donald

Adjournment
There being no further business, Chair Wagner made a motion to adjourn the meeting
at 3:35 p.m. Commissioner Witkowiak seconded the motion. There being no
objections, the motion carried.
