Call to Order. The meeting convened at 10:02 AM 2. Roll Call. Present 9 - Korban, Bauman, Polenske, Gonda, Kovac, Matson, Zarate, Marcoux and Boehm 3. Project Status Ashley Booth - HNTB Corporation gave the following PowerPoint presentation: -30 Day Look Back Progressed Final Design for Mainline and OMF Conducted Project Meetings Continued Utility Coordination Continued Lakefront Categorical Exclusion and Environmental Documentation Processes Progressed 30% Design for Lakefront -90 Day Look Ahead Issue Mainline General Contractor Solicitation in March to include Local Hiring preference Continue Private and Public Utility Coordination and Design Review We Energies Final Design Plans and Final Design Cost Estimates and Execute Construction Agreement We Energies to start initial construction in mid-March 2016 on Electric. Gas & Steam progress is still pending PSC Approval Update Construction Estimates for the Mainline and OMF Complete DRAFT Financial Plan Updating of Project Management Plan and Sub-Plans Finalize and Baseline Project Schedule Finalize 95% Design for most Mainline & OMF elements Obtain Categorical Exclusion Approvals on Lakefront Complete 30% Design for Lakefront Recommence Water Works construction in late March Reduction of WE Energies cost to $15 million by $6.5 million City of Milwaukee Page 1 JOINT COMMITTEE ON Meeting Minutes February 26, 2016 DOWNTOWN STREETCAR IMPLEMENTATION Updating project management plans and schedule -Overall Project Schedule Mainline (roadway, trackwork, systems / Overhead Contact System) Revaluating Schedule – to be Baselined Pending Incorporation of the Lakefront Line and Categorical Exclusion Approval Operations and Maintenance Facility Revaluating Schedule – to be Baselined Pending Incorporation of the Lakefront Line and Categorical Exclusion Approval Revenue Service – 2018 -Budget Status Total $10.1 million spent through January 2016 -Utility Coordination We Energies Issued Final Design Plans and Final Design Cost Estimate for Phase 1 on February 22, 2016 and anticipate Lakefront Line submittals on April 1, 2016 Negotiating Construction Agreement with We Energies Pending Construction Agreement, We Electric Relocation work may start in mid March and other work is pending PSC Approval. We Energies Submitted Certificate of Authority Application to PSC for Gas and Steam - September 15, 2015 Drafted Agreement For Private Telecoms Distributed October 12, 2015 Negotiating Combined Design and Construction Agreements with Telecoms Ald. Bauman asked for clarification regarding the Circuit Court decision. Ashley Booth stated the Circuit Court decision has not added any addtional costs to the budget. 4. Adjournment.
