Call to Order The meeting convened 9:07 AM 2. Roll Call Ald. Coggs joined the meeting at 9:09 AM Present 7 - Korban, Bauman, Polenske, Coggs, Sawa, Marcoux and Boehm Excused 2 - Hamilton and Barrett 3. Project Status Patrick Flaherty - The Concord Group gave a presentation on the following items: - Recent Activity - 90 Day Look Ahead Darryl Simpson - General Manager for Milwaukee Streetcar stated the hiring process for operators will begin in Mary - Budget Status 4. Construction Status Patrick Flaherty - The Concord Group gave a presentation on the following items: Approximately 90% of Mainline guideway is complete. OCS Overhead Contact System and OMF Utility relocation Public Involvement City of Milwaukee Page 1 JOINT COMMITTEE ON DOWNTOWN Meeting Minutes March 16, 2018 STREETCAR IMPLEMENTATION Jeff Polenske stated Tarik Moody from 88.9 Radio Milwaukee will be assisting with public involvement. He added that there are weekley construction team meetings with local stakeholders and the website and social media are up-to-date The marketing Firm selected from the RFP was 2-Story. Ellen Homb, owner of 2-Story 5. Vehicle Procurement Patrick Flaherty - The Concord Group gave a presentation on the following items: Initial system integration and acceptance will begin in April Darryl Simpson stated system testing is necessary to make sure the equipment performs as expected and all safety measures are working properly. The vehicle must be tested for 1000km prior to accepting passengers. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Common Council member results in a quorum of the Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum of another committee, whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee’s realm of authority. In the event that a simultaneous meeting is occurring, no action other than information gathering will be taken at the simultaneous meeting. Parking tickets must be validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall. Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are required to register with the City Clerk's Office License Division.
