times in the past year.
Mary Kannass - 18050 Redwood Dr, Brookfield - Pastor of Hephatha Lutheran
Church - She has observed loitering outside the establishment.
Patricia Rogers - 2147 W Locust - Dominican Center for Women - She has observed
loitering in front of the establishment and is concerned that children from the nearby
school pass the activity.
Phyllis Wolford - 1620 N 20th St - She states the building facade is in poor condition.
Ald. Puente moved to make a written statement from Joyce Ellwanger part of the
record as Exhibit #1. (Prevailed 3-0, Ald. Coggs & Ald. Kovac excused)
Individuals appearing in support:
Lajeska James - 2832 N 16th St - She volunteers at the establishment and states it is
a positive part of the community. She also states loitering has decreased.
One additional supporter chose not to speak.
Ald. Coggs moved approval with a warning letter, holding open the police report and

required to register with the City Clerk's License Division. Lobbyists appearing before a
Common Council committee are required to identify themselves as such. More
