concrete barrier is maintained to block access from the back of the establishment,

door concerning parking, staff will be hired to monitor parking, and street parking is

attempted on several occasions to reach the operators to discuss litter, parking, and
types of products for sale.

Ald. Bohl asked about plans to clean and secure the premise.
Ald. Kovac suggested picking up litter further than the establishment.

not add economic value, and is not in support.

Mary Delgado 6233 W Chambers St shared a map that shows the locations of liquor
establishments and is in opposition.

adjustments. He stated that having entertainment outside is the livelihood of the
establishment and eliminating it would be a hindrance to his business.

Ald. Bauman stated that there are several objections and the outdoor music is a big
issue. He recommends amending the Plan of Operation to limit outside music.

Tom Paprocki 227 N Water St stated that there were challenges in April as a result of
a party and the issue is noise from the speakers installed outside. He stated that
music is usually playing after midnight and he is in opposition.
Rizarski Metra 227 N Water St. Apt 3C stated that the issue for him started with the
loud music outside and is in opposition.
Ald. Bohl asked how late the music plays. He stated that the applicant will likely lose
the ability to play music outside if there are no adjustments.
Ald. Kovac asked if the setup from April been cleaned up. He suggested to the
applicant to get rid of the amp system outdoors.
Ald. Zielinski asked the applicant if he will be willing to amend his application to earlier
hours for outside entertainment on the weekends.

Atty. Vincent Bobot stated that the establishment has been operable for 30+ years
and will like to take over the operation of the establishment.
Atty. Michael Maistelman stated that the intent of the letter was not to intimidate those
testifying. He stated that the school has made allegations of sexual assault on
students by patrons of the liquor store, patrons wandering into the school, and the
school has the obligation to report incidents if they are indeed occurring. He stated
that no reports are on file and they should keep their mouth shut if there are no
incidents reported to the police.

Ald. Coggs stated that she feels that threats are coming from both sides and thinks
things should move forward. She stated that she shares the same concerns as the
school but this business has existed for the past 40 years at this location. She stated
that she met with the new applicants and their business history. She stated that she
requests approval of the licenses in hope that the applicant and school can work
together.

Mahdi Mohammed 1733 N 47th St stated that he has invested in the neighborhood and
is in opposition. He stated that there is an abundance of liquor stores, aware that the

owner wants to sell the establishment, but the continuation of this establishment will
not benefit the neighborhood. He stated that there is litter and public urination around
and near the establishment. He submitted a letter of threat or rebuttal received from
the attorney of the current owner. He stated that he is willing to work with the new
owner if he is granted the licenses.
Basimah Abdullah 1731 N 47th St stated that she agrees with the previous testimony.
Chester Shalom 4343 N 68th St stated that he agrees with the previous testimony.

Alicia Love-Jackson 7010 W Oakview Ave, Mequon, WI stated that she has operated
the establishment for almost 40 years and was shocked when the neighboring school
objected because has always maintained the establishment.
Warner Jackson 7901 N Berwyn Ave, Glendale, WI stated that they will support the
new owner and help in anyway necessary. He is hopeful that they can meet with the
school and new owners to help assist in a smooth transition.
Rosemary Holly 2434 N 4th St stated that she is in support.
David Ballard 117 W Wright St stated that he is in support.
Martha Love stated that she is in support and noticed that there is always someone
chaperoning the children when they are outside.
Lamar Franklin 6920 N Beech Tree Dr, Glendale, WI stated that he is in support.
Mack Weddle 2460 N 6th St stated that he is in support.

Mohammad from the attorneys of the current owner. He stated that intimidation should
be strongly discouraged and the attorney clearly stated that they should keep their

concentration.

there are concerns about the cleanliness and improvements of the premise.

store. He encouraged the applicant to pursue a different type of business to
contribute to the neighborhood.
