Bauman stated there is a long history of the same problems at this location, and all the incidents in the police report were under the applicant. He thanked the police for putting this property into the nuisance program. He stated that the premises has had 4 shootings in the last year, while his entire district from 2018 to present has had 41 shootings. He added that 10% of the shootings in the district have occurred at the premises and it is unacceptable. He stated that the premises is the danger, not the neighborhood, and he recommends nonrenewal. He added that the liquor store remained open until September of this year. Individuals present in opposition: Capt. Norman stated there are a lot of incidents and in September the premises became a nuisance property. He added that he is concerned about the continued issues at nighttime.
