1. Roll Call

2. Review and Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes
Ms. McSweeney moved approval of the minutes, seconded by Mr. Murphy. There were
no objections.
3. New Work Fund
- Updates on Projects
Ms. Witte stated she is still waiting for an update from Black Cat Alley.
- Revisions to 2019 Application
Ms. Morris stated applications may be considered on a rolling basis, contingent upon
funds availability. The first review of the applications will be at the March 2019
Subcommittee meeting, if you want your application considered at that meeting, it
must be submitted by February 28th, 2019. There after applications will be considered
in the order they're received. Ms. Morris moved to change the application to a rolling
fund, seconded by Ms. McSweeney. There were no objections.
4. Conservation Fund
- Updates on Projects
Ms. Witte stated she is still waiting for a final report from Milwaukee Bells.
- Revisions to 2019 Application
Ms. Morris stated the date on the application should be updated.

5. New Business
Presentation: Mary Miss and City as Living Laboratory (WaterMarks project, Inner
Harbor Developments)
Mary Miss stated the project started in 2014. The first marker was installed at UCC
Acosta Middle School. There is a video available explaining the project at
watermarksmke.org
Ms. Witte presented information regarding the condition of the city's art collection and
which works of art need conservation the most. This report will be discussed further at
future meetings.
Ms. Morris stated she attended an art selection meeting of Sculpture Milwaukee 2019.

Limited parking for persons attending meetings in City Hall is available at reduced rates (5 hour limit) at the
Milwaukee Center on the southwest corner of East Kilbourn and North Water Street. Parking tickets must be
validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall.
Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are required to
register with the City Clerk's Office License Division. Registered lobbyists appearing before a Common
Council committee are required to identify themselves as such. More information is available at
