Roll Call The meeting convened at 3:10 PM Individual also present: Sally Witte, DCD Present 5 - McSweeney, Morris, Murphy, Klose and Layden 2. Review and Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes Approval was held to the January meeting. 3. New Work Fund -Guest: Pegi Christiansen performed "Is this fair?" -Direction for 2020 Cycle Ms. Morris stated there will be up to $25,000 for regular work and up to $25,000 for work themed with art and civic engagement for the DNC. She stated there will be a preliminary application for art and civic engagement projects due January 31, 2020 and those approved will be invited to submit a full proposal for the February 29, 2020 deadline. She added that because of the short timeline the matching funds can be in-kind, and there can be one fiscal receiver for more than one project. Ms. Morris moved, seconded by Ms. Layden to approve the prelimary application process for the art and civic engagement projects. There were no objections. -Updates on Projects There were no updates. 4. Conservation Fund -Updates on Projects There were no updates. -Approval of Application Form Ms. Morris stated this application will be accepted on a rolling basis. She added that there will be up to $10,000 available for next year. Ms. Morris moved, seconded by Ms. McSweeney to approve the rolling deadline for the conservation fund. There were no objections. Old Business -Art Collection This was not discussed. Ms. Morris moved, seconded by Ms. Layden to allocate $50,000 from capitol funds to the Good Hope Library for artwork. There were no objections. Old Business - Art Collection In the event that Common Council members who are not members of this committee attend this meeting, this meeting may also simultaneously constitute a meeting of the Common Council or any of the following committees: Community and Economic Development, Finance and Personnel, Judiciary and Legislation, Licenses, Public Safety and Health, Public Works, Zoning, Neighborhoods & Development, and/or Steering and Rules. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Common Council member results in a quorum of the Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum of another committee, whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee’s realm of authority. Parking tickets must be validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall. Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are required to register with the City Clerk's Office License Division.
