Roll Call The meeting convened at 2:03 PM Mr. Murphy joined the meeting at 2:06 PM Individual also present: Sally Witte - DCD Present 4 - McSweeney, Morris, Murphy and Klose Excused 1 - Layden 2. Review and Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes Ms. Klose moved approval of the minutes, seconded by Ms. McSweeney. There were no objections. 3. Presentations: Gabriel Yeager from the Downtown BID and Anthony Gayfield from DPW presented on a proposed mural project for the parking structure at MacArthur Square 4. New Work Fund - Review Art & Civic Engagement Applications Ms. Morris stated 22 applications were received. The following projects were invited to complete the full application: Consensis, Surplus, Dolphin Boy Spirit, Paul Kjelland, Sculpture Milwaukee, Sarah Gail Luther, Advide Tent, and This is Milwaukee. Ms. Morris abstained from voting on Sculpture Milwaukee. - Updates on Projects Members can e-mail Ms. Morris directly if they can think of anything else relating to these projects. 5. New Business - Review proposed ordinance relating to the acceptance of donations of public art. This ordinance provides a process for the donations and for arts related input regarding the acceptance of donations of art and increases the board to 7 people. 7. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Common Council member results in a quorum of the Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum of another committee, whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee’s realm of authority. In the event that a simultaneous meeting is occurring, no action other than information gathering will be taken at the simultaneous meeting. Upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities through sign language interpreters or auxiliary aids. Limited parking for persons attending meetings in City Hall is available at reduced rates (5 hour limit) at the Milwaukee Center on the southwest corner of East Kilbourn and North Water Street. Parking tickets must be validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall. Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are required to register with the City Clerk's Office License Division.
