Roll Call The meeting convened at 3:02 PM Individuals also present: Vanessa Koster - DCD Sally Svetic - DCD Present 5 - McSweeney, Morris, Murphy, Klose and Layden 2. Review and Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes Ms. Layden moved approval of the minutes, seconded by Mr. Murphy. There were no objections. 3. New Work Fund -Updates on Projects Ms. Morris stated that the West Side Arts, New State mural project submitted an updated budget for $11,310, with $8,400 being labor and materials. Ms. Layden moved to approve the revised budget, seconded by Ms. Klose. There were no objections. Ms. Morris stated she got an email about changing the images on the murals at Heartlove Place. She stated that they had a community meeting and would like to showcase art of artists in the immediate community. Ms. Morris stated Terri Grote has been working with awardees to get final reports and outstanding budgets submitted. -2021 Cycle Options; Draft Letter to Department Heads Mr. Murphy and Ms. Morris stated they have talked to people about art residencies. Ms. Morris stated there may need to be a MOU between the Arts Board and the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee. 4. Conservation Fund -Updates on Projects Ms. Morris stated the Brady St project is the only one that she doesn't know the status of because the BID has not responded to her emails. Old Business -HPC Mural Guidelines Ms. Morris stated the guidelines were adopted by HPC. Ms. Layden stated that they should submit further recommendations to HPC. Ms. Klose stated adding a resource page to the Arts Board website would be helpful. -Art Collection This item was no discussed. Old Business -HPC Mural Guidelines -Art Collection In the event that Common Council members who are not members of this committee attend this meeting, this meeting may also simultaneously constitute a meeting of the Common Council or any of the following committees: Community and Economic Development, Finance and Personnel, Judiciary and Legislation, Licenses, Public Safety and Health, Public Works, Zoning, Neighborhoods & Development, and/or Steering and Rules. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Common Council member results in a quorum of the Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum of another committee, whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee’s realm of authority. Limited parking for persons attending meetings in City Hall is available at reduced rates (5 hour limit) at the Milwaukee Center on the southwest corner of East Kilbourn and North Water Street. Parking tickets must be validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall. Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are required to register with the City Clerk's Office License Division.
