1. Roll Call
The meeting convened at 3:05 PM

2. Review and Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes
Ms. Klose moved approval of the minutes, seconded by Mr. Murphy. There were no
objections.
3. New Work Fund
Ms. Morris stated the following projects are outstanding: Uptown Crossing from 2019 is
missing the final budget and canceled check. Ms. Grote stated she has sent them 8
correspondences over the past year and is trying to close out the accounts. Ms. Morris
stated the Welford Sanders statue from 2017 needs to raise a small amount of money
to fix shoddy workmanship on the base. Ms. Grote stated they are missing the
complete final report. Ms. Svetic stated the statue wasn't installed because of the
issues with the base.
Ms. Morris stated they will give Uptown Crossing 2 additional weeks to submit the
outstanding paperwork to receive their final payment, or risk forfeiture.
4. Conservation Fund
Ms. Morris stated the Bells of Milwaukee from 2017 is missing final budget and
canceled checks. She added that they will give an additional 2 weeks to submit the
outstanding paperwork to receive their final payment, or risk forfeiture. Ms. Morris
stated in 2017 the Westown Association applied for the Spanish American War Hero,
but there is no signed contract. She added that they will revise the grant agreement to
make it current, and then they can reapply when they are ready.

Ms. Morris stated they need to get the word out about the New Work and Conservation
funds.

Limited parking for persons attending meetings in City Hall is available at reduced rates (5 hour limit) at the
Milwaukee Center on the southwest corner of East Kilbourn and North Water Street. Parking tickets must be
validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall.
Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are required to
register with the City Clerk's Office License Division. Registered lobbyists appearing before a Common
Council committee are required to identify themselves as such. More information is available at
