a. Discuss PAIR department interest
Ms. Morris said that there was a conversation on the last meeting about the “Reckless
Driving”.
Ms. Svetic wanted to point out that the Workforce's Development option was also
referring to the reckless driving and that Bernadette did a sort of refine of the
statement of interest and that what Ms. Svetic sent, reflects that change which she
proceeded to read.
Ms. Morris said that she hopes to come with the recommendations to the full board as
options 1 and 2.
Ms. Klose said that she leans more towards the reckless driving because of what is
happening in the city and that residents are fed up with that and that it is more visible
and that the Workforce's Development piece as option two.
Ms. Layden said that her option one is the reckless driving and the one from the
Workforce's Development as option two and suggested to tell them to bring some
funding to the table and that from the marketing stand point, the visibility factor is
important right now to publicize this program.
Ms. McSweeney said that both programs are high profile and both programs should be
number one and that she will go for option 1 and 2 as the rest as well.
Ms. Morris said that they can make a good case to fund both projects in a separate
quarter and that she will be happy to find a second artist.
Ms. Morris asked if the members feel comfortable to bring the suggestions to the next

The members agreed.

Ms. Morris said that regarding the Conservation Fund, she had a chance to talk to
Diane Buck (Villa Terrace) and that she was very understating of the accessibility part
of the rejection and that they will pursue other ideas.

next meeting which seems to be about some murals along the beer line trail.

St that was mentioned last time.

discussed by the board.
Ms. Svetic said that there is no one right now from the Arts Board sitting at the
Downtown bid but asked if someone is interested in connecting with members of the
planning team.
Ms. Morris said that it will make sense to reach out to ask if they need some
participation from the Arts Board.
Ms. Layden said that there are public meetings where residents are able to attend as a
private citizens and that they are taking suggestions from the public in general and
that it will be good for the Arts Board to have a little visibility in a project highly public
like this one because the Arts Board have so low visibility in the community.
Ms. Morris asked Ms. Svetic to find out some more information about the project.
