1. Roll call
The meeting was called to order at 3:05 pm
Members present: Ms. Morris, Ms. Layden and Mr. Murphy.
Members excused: Mr. Klose and Ms. McSweeney
Ms. Svetic and Ms. Grote from DCD were present as well.
2. Review and Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes
Ms. Layden moved to approve the minutes from the September 13, 2022 meeting with
one clerical correction. Seconded by Mr. Murphy. There were no objections.
3. New Work Fund
a. PAIR
Ms. Svetic said that they have not announced the name of the artist because they
have not secured the contract yet. She said that It is a temporary pause to sort out
issues with the insurance. She added that the liaison will be Angela Livermore.
Ms. Morris said that Angela will bring a lot of passion to reckless driving initiative.
4. Conservation Fund
a. Magic Grove Sculpture Application
Ms. Lynn Greb - Director of the Milwaukee Recreation Department was present.
Ms. Morris explained that this sculpture is at Enderis Park, that the work scope is in
the $20,000 range and that the whole project is doable. She said that Enderis Park
Neighborhood Association is asking for $5,000 that must be matched as well. She
added that a provision will be made to start a maintenance fund.
Ms. Greb explained that they have worked very close with the family to explore options
to identify a vendor who can do the restoration work. She added that Van Guard will
honor the estimate made more than a year ago and that the next step is to set a day to
start the work.
Ms. Morris recommended to have someone to write about this project to be published.
Ms. Layden said that this project is worthy and moved to support this project at the
$5,000 level. Seconded by Mr. Murphy.
Ms. Morris explained Ms. Greb that they will make the recommendation to the
Milwaukee Arts Board.

Ms. Morris said that she does not know of any other applications coming forward.
5. New Business
No new business were discussed.

Limited parking for persons attending meetings in City Hall is available at reduced rates (5 hour limit) at the
Milwaukee Center on the southwest corner of East Kilbourn and North Water Street. Parking tickets must be
validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall.
Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are required to
register with the City Clerk's Office License Division. Registered lobbyists appearing before a Common
Council committee are required to identify themselves as such. More information is available at
