Meeting convened at 9:06 AM Present 4 - Borkowski, Lewis, Perez, Spiker 1. 191963 A substitute ordinance relating to enforcement of communicable disease orders. Appearing: Ald. Lewis Ald. Lewis moved to amend Common Council File Number 191963 by inserting the following prior to the enabling clause: This action was already DONE at the time the file was filled. “Whereas, The City of Milwaukee, in its efforts to ensure compliance with the State of Wisconsin’s “Safer at Home” order wishes to maintain a full range of enforcement options from education through arrest; and Whereas, Nothing in this ordinance should be construed as limiting or proscribing the ability of the Milwaukee Police Department to arrest individuals for violation of the “Safer at Home” or similar orders when appropriate; now, therefore,” There were no objections. A motion was made by ALD. LEWIS that this Ordinance be RECOMMENDED FOR PASSAGE. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Common Council member results in a quorum of the Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum of another committee, whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee’s realm of authority. Parking tickets must be validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall. Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code are required to register with the City Clerk's License Division.
