Concrete pavement reconstruction, widen the pavement from 24 to 36 feet, construct
curb and gutter, replace all of the walk on the north side of the street, install new walk
on the south side of the street, construct driveways, remove railroad crossings as
necessary, sodding (new 6-foot width of tree border area), and grading.
George Kolias Tulip Molded Plastics stated this project is overdesigned and it's an
industrial area and they are opposed to the reconstruction. He stated this project will
cost about $50,000-100,000 that hasn't been budgeted for.
Jerrel Jones, Executive Director Riverworks BID #25 stated he is in favor of the
project and the reconstruction is in the strategic plan.
Ian Sustar 720-28 E Nash St stated he is willing to pay the assessement because it
will improve the property and it's not an alley.
Ann Van Dunk Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity stated all their vendors use that street
and it is in bad shape.
Mark Vasman 401 E Vienna stated he spent over $400,000 cleaning up the property
to develop it for small businesses.

Public comment:
Willie Wade, Employ Milwaukee is in favor for increasing employment
Susan Arnhold 5018 W Wisconsin Ave is opposed because she is concerned about
parking and ridership and forced transfers.
Mary McCoy 4827 W Wisconsin Ave is opposed because she believes it will have an
adverse impact on traffic and congestion.
Dave Demonie 5024 W Wisconsin Ave is opposed because he already uses the Gold
Line and doesn't want to see a decrease in stops. He is also concerned about the
bus stop in his front yard.
Cynthia Brown 4921 W Wisconsin is in favor of the project and believes Story Hill can
adapt to changes.
John Kissinger, Graves 125 N 84th St is in favor to help attract and retain employees.
Mary Eastman 101 N 74th St is opposed because she believes a dedicated lane will
impact traffic.
Steve Fauman, Barbiere's Italian Inn is opposed due to parking concerns.
Karen Ken 5010 W Wisconsin is opposed and has not received any information.
Kerry Thomas, Executive Director of Metro Go! is in support for attracting, creating,
and retaining jobs. Also providing transit for those who do not drive.
Karen Rotger, ACLU of Wisconsin is in support and agrees with the previous
speaker. A disproportionate amount of people of color are transit dependent and this
system provides some equitity.
Ken Young SEWRPC is in support of the project.
Nathan Jurowski Associated General Contractors of Milwaukee is in support.
Serah Greenburg 2671 N Lake Dr is in support.
Dennis Kraszinsky 1845 N Farwell is in support of improving transit and agrees with
the previous speakers in support.
Caleb Roberts, MICAH is in support because it will lead to job creation and job
growth.
Andy Moss 4921 W Wisconsin Ave is in support and feels transit should be
expanded, but he feels this has been rushed.

Carol Cafre 555 N 31st St is in support if it's better than the bus. She thinks there
should be more stops downtown.
Mike Kurzawa Glenview & Wisconsin Ave believes the feedback at the listening
sessions was not positive and felt the sessions didn't provide information. He
believes this was rushed and more information should be provided.
Terry Wiggins Interfaith Earth Network is in support because it provides another
transit option.
