he had to detour and the trip took longer, which is why it cost more. He added that
normally a ride from the airport to downtown is $35.

applicant from DOT regarding the accident on the day in question. (Prevailed 5-0)
Ald. Kovac asked the applicant if he thought it was appropriate to charge the
complainant more than the usual rate due to the unusual circumstances of an
accident.
The applicant responded that he thought it was appropriate to charge more than $35
because he had to drive around to get to the Pfister due to the accident.
Ald. Bauman moved approval with a 10 day suspension based upon the applicant's
testimony substantiating the complaint. (Prevailed 3-1-1, Ald. Bohl voting no, and Ald.

drunk he was just tired. He added that he never received a ticket and found out that
his license was suspended when he received a letter in the mail. He stated he got his
OWI case reopened and his drug test came back as negative. He stated his texting
while driving ticket is still going through court the process.
