something bad is going to happen and thanked Ald. Taylor for her support.

crackfilling on W. Center St. in the 10th Aldermanic District with a City
share of $15,000.

of the attached report.
Mr. Meyers said that for plastic bags - they are promoting to return them to
retailers/grocery stores - recollection centers because they need to be clean, dry and
sorted.

Mr. Weber talked about the 4 presentations attached to the file.
Ald. Brostoff suggested to make an annual celebration to showcase the wonderful trail
system that we have.
Ald. Zamarripa requested bilingual signs for the part of the trail around Silver City.

Ald. Bauman said that he had a chance to hear a lot of NPR stories about

electrification and that he is looking for some brainstorming and to fond out what is the
reality for our residents.

Danielle Rodriguez - DPW Operations
Ms. Rodriguez gave the following report:
-Prepping for the leaf season
-Getting ready for winter operations (snow and ice communications will be sent out to
elected officials to inform their districts and social media use)
-Invited the members to ride along.
-There is a new rate $27.24 for Equipment Operator (people with CDL) and that she
hopes to see people back.
-Good with salt orders, equipment in very good shape and that she has seen a slight
increase on the staff numbers.

status of Traffic-Calming and Complete Streets projects to address
reckless driving and to provide a safer infrastructure for bicyclists and
pedestrians.

Traffic Calming Update:
-Nearly the end of the construction season.
-They had a bit of an issue with 2 projects (supply issue) that has been solved and will
be done early next week.
-Major constructions will be completed next year.
Mr. Muhs said that the public can use the click for action to report delineators that
need to be replaced.
Mr. Muhs said that an update for next year's is coming up to inform the committee

Limited parking for persons attending meetings during normal business hours is available at
reduced rates (5 hour limit) at the Milwaukee Center on the southwest corner of Kilbourn
Avenue and Water Street. You must present a copy of the meeting notice to the parking cashier.
Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code are required to
register with the City Clerk's License Division. Lobbyists appearing before a Common Council
